"If you don't know where you're going, any bus will do"

Mari had just returned from a week in California with her mother when I told her that I wanted to go wander around the district. I wanted to get in some more conditioning for the upcoming week with Matthew at the Lenhok'sin High Adventure camp at Camp Goshen. Anyway, we took Metro to Foggy Bottom/GWU and just wandered around for about 3 and 1/2 hours looking for statues. We wandered about 12 miles and found quite a lot of them; mostly statues honoring our founding fathers, but including a few funky ones that we found along the way. It was a very hot day and the cold beers and Mexican food at On The Border were much appreciated!
